Most people are fascinated with tiny houses.

But have you ever thought of what you would do if you could design your own tiny house?

Now’s your chance.

Sonoma, Calif.-based Tumbleweed Tiny House Company, the nation’s largest tiny home builder, has partnered with Northgate Resorts to offer the first Jellystone Park™ Tiny Home RV Designer Challenge.

Simply email your application packet at http://www.lazyriverny.com/jellystone-park-tiny-home-rv-tour/ to jellystonetinytour@northgateresorts.com no later than midnight Eastern time on Feb. 2. Be sure to include up to three visuals for the design of the tiny house, the application form and link to a 60-second video in which you explain why you should be selected as the designer for the Jellystone Park™ Tiny Home RV Designer Challenge.

Preference will be given to designers who make a 60-second video on Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #JellystoneTinyTour.

Contestants must be 18 years old or older. The winner must also be available to remotely design and decorate homes over the coming months and be present for design implementation for one week in mid to late May. The designer must be willing to be in frequent communication with the project manager.

The winner will be announced the week after the application period closes and will have an opportunity to design three different Tumbleweed Tiny Houses, which will be built this spring and be showcased at Jellystone Parks in Gardiner, N. Y.; Quarryville, Penn.; Hagerstown, Md.; and Luray, Va.

The tiny houses, which sleep four to six, will include kitchens and bathrooms. They will be available for rent by consumers at each park using the following links: Gardiner, NY, Quarryville, PA, Hagerstown, MD, and Luray, VA.

Design contest winners will also receive $1,000 plus free travel for two for a one week complimentary stay at the Jellystone Park in Gardiner, N.Y. during the design phase of the tiny home challenge. Winners will also be featured on Jellystone Park websites, the Tumbleweed website as well as their respective Facebook and Instagram accounts plus e-newsletters that provide publicity to millions of Jellystone Park and Tumbleweed fans.
